About Muir Consulting, Inc.

Muir Consulting, Inc. was incorporated in 2000 by its president, Jack M. Smith. Mr. Smith, a licensed land surveyor and a graduate of Surveying Engineering from California State University: Fresno, recognized a need to provide high quality surveying services throughout California. Starting in a basement in San Francisco, the company quickly outgrew its space. In 2003, Muir Consulting, Inc. opened an office in Oakdale serving the Central Valley.

Using the latest in technology, our surveyors derive solutions of conventional and unconventional projects, "applications," to complete the projects in both an economical and efficient manner. Our methods and procedures for surveying and mapping enable us to be on the forefront of production.

Geographic Coverage

Mr. Smith has structured the firm in such a way as to enable us to serve a wide geographic region, yet still maintain an economical service. We perform surveying projects throughout California and Nevada. Because of this structuring, our clients can rely on one surveying firm for all of their professional needs.
